How to Get Your Photos Into Art Galleries

Another goodie by DigitalRev’s Bokeh blog on how to get your photos into art galleries. Not that art isn’t subject to commercialism. Galleries have to pay bills and sell the art exhibited, which might hold some photographers off some compromises necessary to get accepted by art houses.

Uniqueness, difference and inspiration are key to get accepted and shown. Something that moves. Unlikely that art galleries worldwide have a completely different approach to the Hong Kong scene surveyed in this video report.

You’ll have to experience the gallery model, quite a commercial process. Also, this is no news photography. Post-processing and editing face no boundaries. Competition however is rather strong. Make it personal. Guess they’re mainly after unique style — and what transcends from it.
